I was looking for a simple (not for the game) for Windows PCs. Since I am not a hobbyist when it comes to computers, I was really looking for something that works well, has a small footprint on my desk, and give me more power for my dollar, all under $ 500 . I found exactly what I was looking for Gateway. Compared to similar models from Dell and HP, I think this is a great value. Fast Core 2 Quad, 4GB of RAM healthy, large 650GB hard drive. So all your basic specifications are of the highest quality, and you're not spending too much money. OK, so what are the considerations that you choose this computer?

SX2800 I had about two months, and the performance was fast and quiet and reliable, with no deductions.
Some things do not work yet with Vista 64 as my scanner HP All-in-one, but otherwise no problem.
N. Wireless came up with this machine, and a single slot (except for video slot PCI Express) is a PCI Express 1x modem phone busy.
Wireless USB I tried was actually compatible with Windows Vista 64 (no driver available yet), and has worked only occasionally and then to all.
I moved from dial-up for D-Link DWA-556 Xtreme N PCI Express wireless adapter and now e-mail and the Internet are rocket fast.
DWA-556 does not mention the short bracket on the box, but it was inside, and the installation was a breeze.
